About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a skilled PL SQL Developer to join our team. As a PL SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying software solutions using PL SQL.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Participate in all aspects of software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
  2. Provide support for fixing defects during the testing cycle.
  3. Apply agile methodologies to streamline development and testing processes.
  4. Provide support during production issues when needed.
  5. Maintain high standards for code quality.
  6. Support knowledge such as checking and fixing job abends.
  7. Experience with SQL stored procedures is a plus.
  8. Financial services experience is a plus.
  9. Ability to multitask and take the initiative when needed.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of PL SQL, including packages, functions, triggers, and views.
  • Experience with supporting tools like JIRA Portal, Toad, or SQL Developer.
  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
  • Good understanding of design patterns.
  • Experience with basic Java.
  • Knowledge of capital markets.
  • Knowledge of batch processing.
  • Work experience in RTC tool.
  • Ability to work as a good team player.
  • Experience with agile development methodology.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
