Life Skills Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Life Skills Worker to join our team at Braemore Lodge in Penticton, B.C.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, observe, and monitor clients' progress and level of acceptance to services and support
  • Assist clients with daily living activities and model appropriate behaviors related to problem-solving and decision-making
  • Provide structured support to help develop and maintain life skills related to time management, money management, organization, and interpersonal communication
  • Work with clients to develop and maintain personal care, household management, and community access skills
Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • Certificate in a field relevant to the position (e.g., community social services, rehabilitation)
  • One year recent related experience working with individuals experiencing mental health and substance use problems
  • Valid certificates in CPR, First Aid, and Food Safe
  • Current valid B.C. Driver's License
