Medical Instrument Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Instrument Technician to join our team at dentalcorp as a Sterilization Specialist.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position working 30-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices.
The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be organized and able to maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain equipment in accordance with dental industry standards.
- Lay out surgical instruments in a safe and efficient manner.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for optimal performance.
- Reassemble equipment and assemble packs of sterile supplies and instruments for delivery to hospital departments.
- Ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
$45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience.
