Job Title: Steward (Part-time)

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Steward to join our Food and Beverage team at Pickering Casino Resort and Casino Ajax. As a Steward, you will be responsible for creating a positive first impression for our guests and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment in our restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including dishwashing, utensil handling, and storage.
  • Assist with the receipt of goods and stock shelves to ensure adequate inventory levels.
  • Support cooks in preparing food products as requested.
  • Clean general and common areas in the food and beverage locations.
  • Comply with all food safety and health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent working experience.
  • One (1) or more years of kitchen experience.
  • WHMIS certificate, Food Handling Certificate an asset.
  • Valid Smart Serve Certificate required.
  • Ability to follow instructions in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.
