Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward to join our Food and Beverage team at CB Canada. As a Steward, you will be responsible for creating a positive first impression for our guests and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment in our restaurants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including dishwashing, utensil handling, and storage.
  • Assist with the receipt of goods and stock shelves to ensure adequate inventory levels.
  • Prepare food products as requested by cooks and kitchen staff.
  • Clean and maintain general and common areas in the food and beverage locations.
  • Comply with all food safety and health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Management Team.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent working experience.
  • One (1) or more years of kitchen experience.
  • WHMIS certificate, Food Handling Certificate an asset.
  • Valid Smart Serve Certificate required.
  • Ability to follow instructions in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with the causes of food poisoning and method of prevention.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with fellow employees and management as part of a team.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform tasks and duties effectively and safely within prescribed time limits.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.
