Job Title: Welder

Blaze Constructions Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), and submerged arc welding (SAW).
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate and safe welding practices.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Hardworking and resourceful individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
