Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team at Blaze Constructions Inc. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and reading and interpreting welding blueprints and drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate and efficient fabrication
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including oxy-acetylene welding, shielded metal arc welding, and gas tungsten arc welding
  • Read and interpret welding drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and brakes, shears, and other metal shaping and bending machines
  • Perform brazing and soldering tasks as required
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in welding and metal fabrication
  • Hardworking and resourceful individual with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to work in a well-ventilated area and wear personal protective equipment as required.
