Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shunt Truck Driver to join our team at Transport Gaston Nadeau inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch to receive and relay critical information
  • Operate a manual transmission vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Work in a dusty environment and adhere to safety protocols
  • Manage a large workload and prioritize tasks effectively
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Steel-toed safety boots and cellular phone
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work 8 to 10 hours per week
