Handyman/Handyperson for Golf Club

Club de golf Montcalm is seeking a reliable handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have no degree, certificate or diploma, but will have experience an asset. The handyman will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the golf club, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and waxing hallways, floors and stairs, emptying trash cans and other waste containers, washing windows, interior walls and ceilings, watering and tending to plants, lawns and/or gardens, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and fixtures, and working with minimal supervision. The handyman will also be responsible for operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.

Work Setting

The handyman will work in a golf club environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Tasks

The handyman will perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The handyman will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work. The handyman will also be required to bend, crouch, and kneel.

Personal Suitability

The handyman must have dependability, initiative, judgement, and be organized. The handyman will work as part of a team and will be required to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
