Job Overview:


At AppleOne, we are seeking an experienced Accounting and Assurance Supervisor to join our team. This role will play a critical part in leading our accounting and assurance engagements.



About the Role:


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and assurance, with experience in preparing engagement deliverables, reviewing and investigating accounting and assurance files, and communicating with clients and regulatory bodies.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Prepare high-quality engagement deliverables, including financial statements, letters, and communications.
  • Review and investigate accounting and assurance files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, providing feedback and guidance on their work.
  • Assist with technical accounting issues and act as a point of contact for audit and accounting assistance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, Canada Revenue Agency, lawyers, and bankers.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.

Requirements:



  • CPA designation or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and assurance.
