Job Summary:
Health Careers in Sask is seeking a skilled Clinical Resource Nurse to join our team. As a Clinical Resource Nurse, you will be responsible for promoting quality nursing care to clients and educating, mentoring, and supporting unit staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority through the provision of safe quality nursing care to clients.
- Educate, mentor, and support unit staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Promote patient safety, occupational health and safety, and quality improvement on the unit.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years recent Medical/Surgical/Acute Care nursing experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree.
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS).
Competencies:
- Advanced leadership skills.
- Ability to foster the skills of other staff members.
- Commitment to continued learning and professional development.
- Knowledge in education and program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, independent judgment, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Other Information:
- Experience in leadership such as Charge/Clinical Coordinator/Educator is an asset.
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
