Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Equipment Technician to join our team at American Iron and Metal. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure smooth operations.
  • Equipment Repair: Diagnose and repair complex issues with construction equipment, including cranes, excavators, and forklifts.
  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and other team members to ensure seamless equipment operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma of professional studies (DEP) in construction machinery mechanics or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction machinery mechanics or a combination of studies/experience deemed equivalent.
  • Skills: Excellent manual dexterity, good organizational skills, autonomy, analytical mind, and good speed of execution.
