About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Sunrise Freight Systems Inc. as a key member of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide regular financial reports to management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and a high level of attention to detail required.
