Ryder System, Inc. - Warehouse Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Ryder System, Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods throughout our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move goods and materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve process efficiency
  • Perform cycle counting and inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience in warehouse operations or a related field
  • Valid forklift operator's license and certification
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
