Job Description:

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and organized Environmental Project Manager to join our Assessment and Permitting (A&P) team within the Environmental Services Business Centre.

This position will provide support to all stages of a project's lifecycle, including assessment, permitting, and approval requirements, construction support, and post-construction support. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and contributing to environmental assessments and permitting activities for oil and gas and linear disturbance-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide project management support to the A&P team
  • Lead or support business development activities, including proposals and relationship building with existing and prospective clients
  • Manage a portfolio of projects with overlapping schedules
  • Promote a positive Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) culture in the team and across the organization
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in environmental or natural sciences
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant environmental experience
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience
  • Knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations and guidelines
