GIS System Architect Opportunity

Protak Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced GIS System Architect to lead a new full-time, on-site government project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend a kick-off meeting with key stakeholders to collect information and discuss requirement priorities within five days of contract award.
  • Provide operational, technical, and analytical expertise to GIS projects.
  • Create and present recommendations for cloud-based GIS architecture to senior management and project teams.
  • Develop project documentation, specifications, and contribute to implementation planning.
  • Design and implement GIS solutions using ESRI Enterprise GIS software and other commercial solutions.
Requirements:
  • University degree or college diploma in Geomatics, GIS, Geography, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience as a GIS System Architect.
  • Experience with ESRI Enterprise GIS software and other commercial solutions.
  • Lead Architect experience on GIS architecture solutions projects.
  • IT project experience, project management, GIS web application design, relational database architecture, and GIS solutions development.
Language of Work:

English - Fluent/Advanced (Written, Spoken, and Comprehension).

The contractor may be required to report on-site in Ottawa.
