About CCSA:
CCSA is a national organization that provides leadership to address substance use in Canada. We provide national guidance to decision-makers by harnessing the power of research, curating knowledge, and bringing together diverse perspectives.

About the Role:
The CCSA Board of Directors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill a member-at-large vacancy from Alberta. The ideal candidate will have a Chartered Professional Accountant designation, financial management expertise, and governance experience through serving on one or more boards of directors. They will also have experience working in or with government relations and public relations.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the CCSA Board's discussions and providing insight on the organization's current and future business interests. They will also be expected to serve on at least one committee and participate in the Board's journey of truth and reconciliation.

Requirements:
The CCSA Board is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion. The ideal candidate will be from an equity-deserving group, which includes those with lived or living experience with substance use and health. They will also have a strong understanding of the CCSA's strategic direction and be able to contribute to its implementation.
