About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Supervisor. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional care services to our residents, while mentoring and guiding our care staff to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Supervise and mentor care staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care services.
- Conduct assessments of new residents to identify their care needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide Person-Centred Service Plans (PCC) to ensure residents receive tailored care that meets their unique needs.
- Ensure compliance with resident assessments, service plans, and community policies and regulations.
- Risk management through thorough monthly care-related audits.
- Medication administration in accordance with PCC knowledge and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current LPN license in good standing with CLPNA.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations.
- Experience working with seniors in a retirement or long-term care facility environment (an asset).
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- PCC knowledge is considered an asset.
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $82,250 bi-weekly, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental coverage, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
