Bakery Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Retail Baker to join our team at Cortes Natural Food Co-op. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of products, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, following established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and proofers.
- Requisition and order materials, supplies, and equipment as needed.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales and merchandising goals for baked goods.
- Prepare special orders and customize products to meet customer needs.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Manual dexterity and ability to lift heavy loads.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
