We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at Soul Restaurants Canada Inc. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff members and ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly during your shift.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of staff members to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members to ensure efficient service and minimize wait times.
- Train staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
- Hire and train new staff members to ensure a smooth transition into the team.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure transparency and accountability.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
