We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Ontario Inc.
Job Summary:The Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training new employees, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, and sales.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
