Financial Associate Wealth Advisor

Affinity Financial Strategies, in partnership with GP Financial Services, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Licensed Sales Assistant or Associate Wealth Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative and sales support to our Senior Wealth Advisors, working closely with existing clients and credit union members to deliver comprehensive financial strategies and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities- Client Support: Schedule and hold client meetings with Senior Wealth Advisors, developing and implementing financial strategies and recommendations tailored to individual client needs and goals.
- Administrative Support: Share responsibility for office administrative duties, supporting senior representatives in managing ongoing client relationships to ensure seamless operations and strong client engagement.
- Client File Management: Create and maintain accurate and compliant client files, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Marketing and Promotion: Promote and market the firm's investment and insurance services internally and externally, staying up-to-date on the latest trends and product offerings.
- Client Referrals: Support Credit Union staff in referring qualified clients for investment and estate solutions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest developments in financial planning, investment, and insurance solutions, with a broad knowledge of product offerings and industry competitors.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of successful financial advisory experience. A Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) certification is preferred. The successful candidate will be required to complete the education requirements to become a IIROC licensed Investment Representative.
