Key Responsibilities- Provide resident supervision and assistance with activities of daily living, including eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming.
- Provide resident care and services, including aiding residents with communication and connections, administering medication under the supervision of a registered health professional, and ensuring residents have access to mobility and assistive devices.
- Support resident comfort and well-being by providing ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support, as well as oral and dental care.
- Completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution, or an Internationally Educated Nurse with a degree in Nursing.
- Detailed-oriented and proficient in procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatment and providing bedside care to residents.
- Exercise tact and diplomacy in working with seniors, their families, and general visitors.
