About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC. As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based services and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough security reviews of cloud-based applications and services to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Design and implement secure architecture for cloud-based systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain threat models to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into the development lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and provide guidance and training to team members.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with any combination of the following: mobile security, threat modeling experience, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration and network security.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience and understanding of security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, or application security.
