Learning and Development Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to play a pivotal role in supporting our Leadership learning programs. This individual will be instrumental in designing, developing, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating various learning initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the life cycle of learning programs, including coordinating participants, logistics, supporting facilitators, and facilitating content where necessary
  • Evaluate, track, and report on all training regarding attendance, engagement, completion, and success rates
  • Develop and execute engaging training communications for campaigns, calendars, and individual stakeholders to increase awareness and demand for our programming
Strategic Analysis and Planning:
  • Develop solutions that consider learner persona, objectives, business constraints, and available resources while applying adult learning principles and instructional design techniques
Collaboration and Relationship Building:
  • Collaborate with other learning, HR team members, and learning partners to deliver organizational objectives
  • Identify issues and/or recommend program improvements to ensure programs are delivered efficiently, and participants experience a high-quality learning program that delivers business outcomes
Content Design and Development:
  • Design and develop effective and engaging content and materials, employing recognized adult learning principles
  • Work with functional subject-matter-experts to ensure the content is reflective of current business practices and addresses existing skill gaps

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience managing the life cycle of learning programs, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a college or university degree in training, adult learning, or organizational behavior or equivalent certification in adult learning principles.
