Job Posting: Senior Financial Analyst

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the Board's financial planning and decision-making processes.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who can provide expert financial analysis and advice to support the Board's strategic planning and budgeting processes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support the Board's strategic planning and budgeting processes
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to support the Board's decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards to support the Board's financial planning and decision-making processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis and budgeting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
