Job Description for Livestock Rancher

At Little Rainbow Ranch, we are seeking a skilled Livestock Rancher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, and be able to work in a rural area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Marking livestock as proof of ownership
  • Monitoring animal health
  • Tracking and reporting on current feed inventory
  • Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
  • Formulating feeding programs
  • Maintaining livestock performance records
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in beef cattle ranching and farming
  • Ability to work under pressure and in physically demanding conditions
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
