About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Team Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address project risks and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation and membership in APEGA
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in power distribution engineering and project management
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution system fundamentals, O.E.S.C., CSA Standards, and distribution system specs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and MicroStation drafting software
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
