About the Role
The Government of Alberta is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director to lead the Disability Services North team. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will provide strategic oversight for the delivery of complex client-facing programs and services across the North Zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Disability Services North team
- Develop and implement effective programs and services to meet the needs of clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including contracted agencies and service providers
- Collaborate with other Disability Services Executive Directors to ensure consistency of program delivery and policy
- Provide strategic advice and direction to support the development and achievement of operational business plans and mandates
Requirements
- Extensive senior management experience in disability services, including demonstrated expertise in leading complex client-facing programs and services
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and maintain high-performing teams
- Experience in managing contracted services, program initiatives, stakeholder collaboration, and quality assurance
- Knowledge of disability program service delivery and policy
