About the Role

The Brant Community Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance department. This full-time position will play a crucial role in supporting the team with financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capital Monitoring & Reporting: Participate in the annual budgeting process, track and report on capital expenditures, maintain lease schedules, and ensure adherence to capital processes and policies.
  • Treasury Functions: Approve weekly payment runs, process online payments, reconcile payment runs to bank accounts, journalize bank transactions, and provide backup coverage for cash flow forecasting.
  • Month End Processes: Prepare monthly journal entries, complete various reconciliations, and assist junior analysts with review of their reconciliations.
  • Financial Statement Reporting, Annual Audit, & Other Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, liaise with auditors, and provide support for the annual audit. Additionally, participate in MIS reporting and submissions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in a related field (Bachelor's Degree minimum).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in a hospital setting with relevant transferable experience.
  • Professional CPA designation required or in progress (candidates enrolled in later stages of the program preferred).
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge in financial software programs, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.
Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include Tuition Reimbursement, HOOPP Pension Plan, Predictable work locations, Discounted onsite parking, and Support 24/7.
