We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishroom Attendant at Peking Way Restaurant.
Key Responsibilities- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Scour pots and pans to ensure they are free from food residue and stains.
- Package take-out food in a timely and efficient manner.
- Portion and wrap foods to meet customer requirements.
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer expectations.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Handle and store cleaning products safely and responsibly.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash in a timely and efficient manner.
- Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to meet customer requirements.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
- 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
