Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at TANDOORI GOURMET RESTAURANT. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including the dining area, kitchen, and dishroom
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a food service environment an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
