Biomedical Equipment Specialist

This role reports to the Manager or delegate and involves inspecting, testing, maintaining, and performing complex repairs on biomedical equipment in designated areas such as Radiology, Respiratory, Anaesthesia, and the Operating Room. The successful candidate will also perform other related tasks like conducting acceptance tests for new equipment, modifying existing equipment to enhance performance and safety, and providing technical guidance to users.

A degree from a recognized Biomedical Engineering Technology program is mandatory; however, equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered. A valid Class 5 vehicle license is also required.
