Job Title: Sales Associate

Fastenal is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying sales opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support business-to-business (B2B) sales and customer service activities
  • Provide value to customers through a consultative sales approach
  • Develop new and grow existing relationships from leads, referrals, and prospecting
  • Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs
  • Perform local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites
Requirements:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving record requirements
  • Possess or working towards a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, or related field of study
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong aptitude for sales and desire to sell
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented
