Privacy Lawyer Opportunity

Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP is seeking a highly skilled Privacy Lawyer to join our Montréal practice. As a Privacy Lawyer, you will be a key member of our team, working on a range of privacy-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on privacy policies and procedures, including data protection and information governance;
  • Assisting clients with understanding the privacy implications of their activities and projects;
  • Researching and analyzing changes in privacy laws and regulations;
  • Providing guidance on cybersecurity incidents and data breaches;
  • Drafting and advising on technology aspects of corporate transactions.

Requirements:

  • Excellent academic record and strong communication skills;
  • Experience in a similar high-calibre privacy law practice;
  • Commitment to exceeding client expectations and efficiently managing multiple projects;
  • Extensive knowledge of privacy issues and membership in the Québec Bar.
