Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary:
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store for Spencer Gifts - Spirit Halloween.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability.
- Develop and maintain Guest Services, controlling expenses, shrinkage, and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
- Ensure the store is set up and maintained to meet company standards.
- Support the Store Manager in the pack-up and teardown of the store at the end of the season.
Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement is 18.
- Prior retail management experience is required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Physical demands of the job require 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
The Assistant Store Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service and sales.
