Senior Manager, Compliance and Risk Management Professional

At KPMG Canada, our Compliance & Risk Management Group in Business Enablement Services is seeking a Senior Manager to drive strategic initiatives and lead high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement compliance and risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement effective risk management frameworks and controls.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business risks, and develop mitigation plans to address them.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry developments to ensure the organization remains compliant and competitive.
- Proven experience in compliance and risk management, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve strategic objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and external partners.
- Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
