About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Engineering Manager to join our team at nextRoles. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of our company and driving the success of our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of our product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute on key initiatives.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and excel in their careers.
  • Collaborate with our technical teams to design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure software systems.
  • Work closely with our product and business teams to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and make recommendations for how we can leverage those technologies to drive business success.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience as a developer, with recent 2+ years as a lead (tech lead, manager, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, architecture, and testing.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of engineers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
