Accident Benefits Claims Handler

At Aviva, we're looking for a skilled Accident Benefits Claims Handler to join our team. As a key member of our Healthcare Services team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring timely and equitable resolution of sophisticated Accident Benefit claims.
As an Accident Benefits Claims Handler, you'll be responsible for interpreting insurance contracts, resolving policy coverages, and establishing and adjusting reserves in accordance with corporate guidelines. You'll also handle accident benefits claims according to individual authority, knowledge, and expertise, and acquire investigative reports, independent medical examinations, and statements from insureds and witnesses as required.
You'll work closely with customers and providers to educate them on new auto reform changes and ensure all aspects of the claim process are handled optimally and within company guidelines. Your expertise will be essential in resolving claims issues related to interpretations, legislation, and settlement negotiations.
We're looking for a candidate with a College Diploma or Associate Degree in a related field, and 5+ years of Accident Benefits insurance claims handling experience. You'll also need excellent customer service skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
