Emergency Department Nurse

Collingwood General and Marine Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team.
About the RoleAs an Emergency Department RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a supportive and therapeutic environment. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, and provide care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care and treatment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Current Certificate of Registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum of one-year recent experience in Acute Care Nursing
- Current RN Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Completion of Coronary Care I and II or equivalent
- Current ACLS Certification
- Completion of Physical Assessment course
- Excellent customer service demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
