Job Title: Food Service Supervisor - Restaurant Operations
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
Work Environment: Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work in a noisy and hot environment with occasional exposure to odors.
