Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Cybersecurity Compliance Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient gathering of quality evidence across multiple products and platforms against a variety of certifications such as PCI-DSS, SOC, ISO-27001 and FedRamp. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in coordination and communication with auditors as well as with product development teams and SRE to achieve predictable and frictionless compliance.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate evidence collection across teams to ensure seamless audit processes.
2. Proactively produce evidence documents as needed, utilizing your analytical skills to interpret requirements and intersections between controls of various certifications/standards.
3. Understand the nuances of control requirements and effectively negotiate with auditors, providing clear and concise interpretations rather than literal translations.
4. Interface directly with Auditors as the main point of contact during certification periods, ensuring open communication and addressing any concerns promptly.
5. Clearly articulate automation needs whenever feasible, leveraging your understanding of modern development environments and cloud-native architecture to drive efficiency.
6. Continuously communicate with SRE and product development teams throughout the year to improve posture rather than react during audits, fostering a culture of proactive compliance.
7. Document and improve process for evidence gathering (what to gather, when, by whom), maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base for future reference.
8. Create and manage JIRAs/work items regarding evidence across several teams, streamlining collaboration and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
9. Incorporate Security priority to Compliance - Maintain a strong focus on security and ensure compliance is an incentive for enhanced security rather than toil, driving a culture of mutual support and advancement.
10. Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies, maintaining a commitment to learning and improvement to address emerging challenges and opportunities.
11. Level Up Others - Mentor and guide junior compliance advocates in their efforts to deliver quality evidence across certifications, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
Salary Range
CAD $120,000.00 - CAD $140,000.00 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Benefits
We offer competitive compensation, including health and dental coverage, life insurance, short & long term disability, pre-partum, maternity, parental and medical leave, critical illness insurance, mental health wellness program, wellness incentive program, retirement savings programs with company match, paid time off, 14 annual holidays, tuition assistance, and employee resource groups, promoting work-life balance and overall well-being.
