Job Title: Graphic Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at Ontario Impex of Canada Inc. as a permanent full-time position.

Job Summary

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective graphics, illustrations, and designs for various communications materials. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, creativity, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce high-quality graphics, illustrations, and designs for print, audio-visual, and electronic materials.
  • Collaborate with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations to meet their communications needs.
  • Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations, and adapt existing illustrations as needed.
  • Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians, and co-ordinate all aspects of production.
  • Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers, and prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in graphic design or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours, and attention to detail.
  • Team player with efficient interpersonal skills, and creativity.
Work Environment

The Graphic Designer will work in a multidisciplinary environment, with a large workload and under pressure. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.

Language and Work Hours

The language of work is English, and the work hours are 35 hours per week.
