Job Title: Human Environment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Human Environment Specialist to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our Human Environment Group, you will be responsible for reviewing and summarizing records of engagement, identifying data gaps, and managing and reporting on engagement activities undertaken by WSP and our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and summarize records of engagement to identify issues and concerns
  • Manage and report on engagement activities undertaken by WSP and our clients
  • Analyze records of engagement to identify data gaps and improve regulatory reporting
  • Write summaries of individual engagement activities and project engagement programs
  • Produce standard and ad hoc reports about engagement activities, concerns, commitments, and outstanding actions for clients, regulators, and other project team members
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in a relevant field
  • Strong relevant experience in public engagement and/or communications and report writing
  • Ability to synthesize and summarize technical data in plain language
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to efficiently manage and prioritize several assignments at one time, and deliver results on time and within budget
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, collaborative environment
