Job Summary

Leuschen Transportation is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Driver to transport students to and from school. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Safely transport students to and from school, following established routes and schedules.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and other drivers using two-way radio systems.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety of children when boarding and leaving buses and crossing streets while the bus is stopped.
  • Logistics: Complete logbooks and reports, and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and passenger information.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, judgment, organization, reliability, and a team player attitude.
