Job Title: PSW - Personal Support Worker

Bloom Care Solutions is a growing Digital Health Technology and Services company on a mission to improve care experiences. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, supporting clients with daily activities, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support clients with daily activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
  • Assist clients with safely ambulating and transferring
  • Perform delegated tasks as required
  • Promote client independence and provide psychological and emotional support
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and stakeholders
  • Maintain a safe environment for clients and workers
Requirements:
  • PSW certification or diploma
  • First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate (within 1 year)
  • Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Tb test and Immunizations (up to date)
