Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Axelon Canada. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in assisting the AMCSSI team in delivering key projects and initiatives.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for gathering business requirements, writing functional specifications, and working with the technical team to convey requirements. Additionally, you will prepare and execute test scripts, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and provide BAU support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with global user base to gather business requirements and write functional specifications
  • Interface with technical team to convey requirements and prepare test scripts
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide training as required
  • Provide BAU support and perform analysis to respond to user inquiries
  • Provide local oversight of AMCSSI BA/QA resources and build relationships with local Accounts Control team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in MIS or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and data analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Visio, and Project
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Background in capital markets settlement instruction reference data
  • Experience in business process reengineering and business modeling concepts
