Job Title: Personal Support Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Aide to join our team at Stella Chokron. As a Personal Support Aide, you will provide assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and household tasks to our clients in their homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical well-being
  • Launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks to meet the dietary needs of our clients
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to our clients, promoting social interaction and mental well-being
  • Shop for food and household supplies, and assist with meal preparation and cooking
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
Work Environment:

Our clients live in urban areas, and as a Personal Support Aide, you will work in their homes, providing one-on-one support and care. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and must be able to work under pressure.
