Job Title: Personal Support Aide

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Support Aide to join our team at Stella Chokron. As a Personal Support Aide, you will provide assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and household tasks to our clients in their homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical well-being
  • Launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks to meet the dietary needs of our clients
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to help alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Assist with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Shop for food and household supplies, and manage household finances as needed
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
Work Environment:

Our clients live in urban areas, and the work environment is non-smoking. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis, but this is not a condition of employment.
