Mid-Market Production Account Executive

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with mid-market clients, providing expert risk management solutions, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert risk management advice and solutions to mid-market clients, identifying their needs and developing customized approaches to meet their business objectives.
  • Develop and execute business plans to drive new business production, cross-selling, and account growth, with a focus on commercial accounts and broader market solutions.
  • Ensure overall account profitability through value-based approaches, managing scope of service and costs associated with client service.
  • Lead stewardship planning and delivery, driving the renewal process and assembling the appropriate team to develop and implement client-specific renewal strategies.
  • Ensure client service team understanding of client needs, service delivery methods, and economic frameworks relevant to services delivered.
  • Educate clients on trends, market issues, and relevant trends, including benchmarking, data, and analytics.
  • Marshal Aon resources to support clients in unusual circumstances, such as large claims.
  • Involves others across geographic, solution lines, and functional unit boundaries to define interdependent responses to opportunities to grow the business.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in leading client relationships and/or selling risk management solutions products or related products.
  • Ability to build relationships, grow, and leverage relationships that translate into meaningful and mutually beneficial business results with economic buyers for mid-market accounts.
  • Strong client-facing skills with a track record of advising and influencing decision-makers, including the C-Suite, to make buying decisions.
  • Excellent client management skills, able to manage an existing book and deliver on our client promise while generating new business and clients.
  • Fosters critical relationships between Aon colleagues, clients, and the external payor/insurer market.
  • Able to articulate and execute on a strong value proposition, possessing strong oral and written senior executive client communication and negotiation skills.
  • Organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
  • Proven technical proficiency demonstrating capabilities to build innovative solutions.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to clearly express thoughts and concepts at various levels.
  • Excellent digital literacy, including working experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Must have an active RIBO license.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience.
